Mr T and I had a great morning at a fundraising run. It was a shame to be for such a sad reason, though. A mother at his school has Stage 4 lung cancer, and needed money to pay for an experimental treatment. Parents and children alike stepped up to help and managed to raise €19,000. Amazing.
And I was proud to see Mr T chose to push himself and run the 5k with us, rather than the much smaller children's loop. He had a good day of exercise and even better day of charitable altruism. What a great kid.
